Double Citrus IPA. First released in September 2016.
The oranges for Deucebox, our 8.3% citrus double IPA, are harvested by blasting California Dreaming through very large speakers at such a high intensity, the fruit just falls from the trees and juices itself. This is then added to our Citrus IPA recipe with twice the hops, twice the malt and twice the juice to serve up a punchy, tropical, glass of joy, every time.

We'd like to pretend that this beer was inspired by long sunny afternoons strolling through the orange orchards of Valencia, which would be nice, but the truth is we liked Juicebox so much we wanted to fill a swimming pool with it and float lazily whilst bathing in its delicious joy. Maximum juice. This is like that... but you drink it... from a can.

440ml can. Poured a clear golden colour with a short-lived frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, zesty orange citrus, tropical fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a malt, juicy citrus, light warm alcohol, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Hazy orange colour, small white head and some lace. Danky, a bit fruity aroma. Medium-bodied. Riped tropical fruits, mango, passion fruit, then some pine and dankyness. Some bitterness and citrus peels in the finish, touch of alcohol. Decent.

(Can, 0.33 l - canned on 28.11.2018, from Alko, 20190111) The beer poured golden and nearly cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, orange juice and citricness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, orange juice, citricness, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A decent hoppy brew with the touch of the orange juice.

Can from Brewcraft at home. Slightly hazy orange copper pour. Aroma is a bit muted and malty, some grapefruit zest amidst honey malt. Taste is bigger citrus and pine bitterness, followed by grapefruit/orange juiciness, then slight alcohol warmth with lasting zesty tingly finish. Added citrus quite noticeable in a good way. Palate is slightly heavy. Quite good not great DIPA.
