Justičná Tasting, shared Bottle. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma of dark malt, rum, port, chocolate, light roasty notes, wood, coconut, raisins. Taste is very complex
with chocolate, light roasty notes, wood, coconut, rum, raisins, coconuts from barrel. Very nice.

Bottle. Malty aroma and taste, chocolate, raisins, light caramel and roastyness, rum wooden barrel notes, medium bitter, light sweet. Full body, malty chocolate roasty bitter sweet finish with light alcohol notes. Very good.

Cette bière me laisse dubitative... Nous sommes ici sur un Imperial Stout vieilli en fût de rhum, intégrant du raisin sec dans sa composition avec Premiant et Apollo en houblon et faisant 12,2 %, 36 EBU et 293 EBC. Mais si on commence par la base, sur une texture très fine et des arômes plutôt orientés chocolat, celle-ci ne me convainc par réellement. Quant au vieillissement en fût...je ne reconnais pas le rhum, et c'est une sensation mentholée qui prévaut...Etrange...je sais...Pour ma part je ne suis pas convaincu par cette proposition aromatique. En verre nous sommes sur un noir sans mousse et sans effervescence. Au nez, nous sommes sur un principal chocolat mentholé avec des notes de café et de rhum. On retrouve cette dominante à la dégustation teintée de chêne, de raisin et de mélasse. Le mélange est étrange. L'alcool, tonique, fait le job, surtout que la texture est fine et le sucre n’est pas trop présent pour le style (ce qui met également l'amertume sur les devants. Celui-ci ne fait cependant pas ses 12,2 %. Si la corpulence est bonne, la longueur laisse quelque peu à désirer, d'autant plus que le final manque en plus d'intérêt. Pas emballé.

Aus der Flasche (bottled 14.11.2019/bbe 14.11.2024) im 2020-11 getrunken. In der Nase wirkt dieses IStout recht süßlich mit einem sanften, schokoladigen Röstaroma und erinnert daher fast an eine Praline. Doch am Gaumen wirkt es anfangs etwas unausgewogen, wo die Schokoladenote durch ein undefinierbares Aroma beeinflusst wird. Die Süße was dieser Pralinenduft noch angekündigt hatte ist am Gaumen nicht vorhanden. Erst nach einiger Zeit beginnt sich hier ein bessere Harmonie der Aromen einzustellen. Deutlich immernoch ein richtig tolles Bier - nur mit paar Abzügen in der B-Note.

Very dark brown with quick fading head. Aroma and flavour are very sweet and mostly chocolatey. Perhaps too much. Melted chocolate orange. A bit too sweet and sickly.

25th July 2020 Almost opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Fairly airy palate, semi dry, good fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts, smooth dark chocolate malts. A little dark chocolate malteasers. Smooth Rum barrel, a nice light touch of Rum Baba with a modest Rum and coconut vibe. A little fruity rum before a mildly warning finish. Another excellent Rum BA beer from De Molen. Rum barrel is easy to execute but not so easy to pull off. De Molen appear to have the gist of it. Very nice and very drinkable.

Bottle, 330 ml shared with Max, Miro B and kajser27. Roasted malts, chocolate, sried fruit, some coffee, rum, barrel. Warming. Medium to heavy sweetness. Medium bodied.

Zwart bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is warm, en zoet met een typische smaak, iets van kauwgum, snoepjes, marsepein en kaneel waarbij de rum geheel wegvalt. Dit had volgens mij beter gekund.

Bottle. Dark black-ish pour. Aroma of boozy raisin, caramel candy, almond, molasses and rum vanilla. Taste has lots of rum, caramel candy, sweet cloying raisin, sugary molasses, almond, malt and more booze. The rum booze overpowers the beer and makes it feel a bit cheap.

Bottled 14-11-19. Smells super rummy and raisiny. Mouthfeel is super soft. Taste is an immense hit of rum. Heavy, herbal, boozy rum, pretty bitter. Lots of raisins present, but not much of their sweetness. No stout at all left. Just rum, raisin & alcohol.
