ABV: 4.8%. Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, sweet malt, coffee. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, dark malt, coffee, roasted, coffee - chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20220211]

500ml can. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy off white head. The aroma is roasted malt, light coffee. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, with a slightly light, watery, liqourice, dry coffee palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. Chocolate?

Can from HavnensVin&Tobak. Pours opaque dark reddish black with large offwhite head. Aroma is roasted malt, burned bread crust, dark chocolate, ground coffee, espresso, cocoa, prunes and hints of vanilla and sweet liquorice. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter, faint acidic and faint salty. Body is watery with soft carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with notes of roated malt, bread, chocolate, coffee, dried fruit and vanilla. Lots of taste even though the ABV is in the low end.

Can from Sainsbury's. Appearance - Darth brown to black. Cream to tan head. Nose - coffee bean, toffee and milk chocolate. Taste - milky coffee and tiramisu. Palate - close to medium bodied. Creamy texture with a roasty yet sweet finish. Overall - ok but not my favourite style.

Can from Aldi, Gorgie. Pours clear dark brown with a thin tan head. Aromas of coffee and chocolate. Taste adds vanilla. Light sweet finish.
