Bottle. Color: Clear golden, white head. Aroma: Freshly pressed lightly tart applejuice. Taste: Moderate sweet and tart applejuice, subtle appleskin hints. Light funky. Very light bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation, lightly foamy mouthfeel. Nice refreshing cider. I like the tart part of it.

Sample courtesy of minutemat, cheers Mat! Golden orangey amber colour, white foam that dissipates away and aroma of musty apple, earthy. Taste is sweetish, tangy, apple, woody, oak, with some dried fruity and loamy notes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, medium finish. OK

Bottle shared at home, from some supermarket in France, south Brittany area. Clear orange with some thin white ring head. Sweet apples, some earthy bitter notes, not funky, bit oaky, woody, some oxidisation and raisin notes. Over medium sweet and mild bitter. Light tart edge. Medium body and soft carbonation. Rich and friendly complexion, had expected a very dry cider at 6% but this is quite rich in sweetness. For a sweet one it is quite nice.

75cl bottle from Carrefour. Shared with Soph whilst pressing our first cider. Pours amber with a light mist. Aroma is rich, stewed caramelised fruit, brown sugar. Taste continues, light carbonation, fairly rich, complex, burnt brown sugar, orcgard leaves, good rich fruitiness, caramelised stewed fruit. Fermented with yeast used in spirits, and definitely this has a deeper complexity to standard French cider. Very good.
