From tap at Taplokaal Gist, Utrecht. Grainy and yeasty aroma with funky notes, ripe fruits, sugary apricot, stone fruits, nice funk and yeast aroma. Flavour is a little tart and sweet, body is mediu. Not your typical Tripel, I dig the Alvinne approach, very tasty.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 12.2022) im 2022-03 getrunken. Dieses rotbraune, trübe Bier kommt mit kurzweiliger, aber kräftiger Schaumkrone daher. In der Nase und am Gaumen sind die typischen Tripel-Aromen deutlich. Nach hinter hat es leichte Farmhouse Akzente ohne aber dreckig zu wirken. Ein leckeres und auch unkompliziertes Bier mit vollen Körper. Toll!

Botella 33 cl en vivalabirra 13..12..2021. Volor tostado con espuma blanca. Sabores intensos maltosos belgas con un toque ácido. Muy bien conseguida. Cuerpo medio a intenso con buena sensación alcohólica desde el principio y bastante sabor. Bastante buena para repetir sin duda alguna.

Slightly hazy copper, with an off-white, stable head. Some big chunks came out quite easily, setting down quickly. Smell is slightly sweet, some fruit, bit of caramel and indeed rye.
Nicely sparkling, but not hindering levels of carbonation, decent texture, just a tad drying at the end.
Taste is relatively sweet, fading into a light bitter. Yeasty flavours of banana, with a light spicyness. Rye complements the tripel quite nicely.
All in all a quite nice interpretation of a style that I definitely do not prefer. Not as sweet or cloying as some, and with enough of the rye to make it interesting, but still clearly a tripel.

Bottle. Color: Orange amber, a bit darker than most Tripels which is no surprise due to the use of rye malt. Fast disappearing off-white head. Aroma: Malt, yeasty, herbal notes. Taste: Over moderate to medium sweet, moderate bitterness, herbal, yeasty, caramel. Nice complexity for a Tripel, although this is no standard Tripel because of the use of rye malt and Saison yeast. Over medium body, pretty smooth mouthfeel, average carbonation. Long lasting dry and bitter sweet finish. Nice.
