Draught at Golden Smog, Stockton. Slightly hazed golden colour, some white bubbles on top and aroma of apple, fruit, core. Taste is sweet, appley, juicy fruit, with skin, core and mellow acidity. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium sweet drying finish. Quite OK, still quite sweet.

Bladder box at the Wild Kite, Great Missenden, 23/02/23. Pale very lightly hazed faded yellow with little in the way of a head. Nose is sweet apples, grains, sugars, sweet smelling. Taste comprises sweet apple, tannins, hint of glue, sugars. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. So so ... overly sweet affair.

On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours a hazy pale straw and has an aroma of wet earth. In the mouth it is very sweet with flavour of crisp apples and peel. Eventually some dryness does begin to appear, but this is by no means “medium dry”. It’s pleasant and drinkable, but not much else can be said in its favour.

From tap at Birreria Trilussa in Rome 08.08.21. Translucent pale straw colour. Surprisingly foamy, dense and persistent white head and lacing. Fine aroma and taste of red apple peel and apple juice. Also hints of wine gum and green apples. Slightly astringent. Medium low carbonation.

On tap at The Stable, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out sweet apples and bready notes. Flavour is fairly sweet, with medium red apples, light apple skin, banana, and bready notes. Lightly sweet, no carbonation. Little complexity. Meh.

Box @ Stable, Birmingham. Pours misty deep golden yellow, aroma is sweet. Taste is extremely cloying, overly sweet, syrupy.. not great.

Cask at BeerAttraction 2019, Rimini, Italy. Pours clear gold, with almost no foam. Aroma is delicate apple, cinnamon. Body is average, with close to no carbonation. Taste is moderately sweet. Finish is average.

Cask at the 35th Luton Beer and Cider Festival. Pours hazy dark gold with a very small off white head. Aroma of sea salt, cider vinegar, sour apples and light caramel. Light sweetness, heavy sourness. Moderate body, watery texture, soft carbonation.
