Our brewers at Bath Ales must have been California dreaming the day they came up with Monterey.

Full of pine and tropical notes, this pale ale was born but not raised in the USA thanks to its three American sourced hops. Destined for long, lazy afternoons, it’s a refreshing, flavourful and sessionable beer as golden as the sands of Monterey Bay.

Half pint, Budleigh Salterton. Pours gold with small white head. Aroma of light malt, citrus, grapefruit. Taste is the same with pine note. Very refreshing.

Keg @ The Jube, Woolacombe after a walk along the coast from Mortahoe. Pours clear gold, small white head. Aroma is fresh with very light citrus, grapefruit. Taste is crisp, fresh, citrussy, served suitably cold for a hot day like today. Very refreshing, balanced session IPA, just hoppy enough.
