Low on alcohol, high on flavour! Vedett Session IPA is the ideal choice when you have to go the distance. Because settling in for a session shouldn’t mean having to settle for anything less than a full-flavoured taste experience! Even before that first refreshing sip of Vedett Session IPA, the first thing that hits you is its intense aroma of citrus and pine resin. Hold it to the light and you would even say this golden, slightly cloudy Belgian ale glows. Taste it (finally!) and the initial burst of refreshing acidity slowly develops into a crisp, flavoursome bitterness. With a distinctly hoppy aftertaste that beckons for more.

Bottiglia. Al naso arrivano impressioni di luppolo, agrumato e un sottofondo frizzante di lime. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma non è molto persistente. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana media. Il liquido è di aspetto debolmente velato. Bollicine medio-fini costituiscono la forma della frizzantezza. Il colore è giallo scarico. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è deciso. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano luppolate. Il finale è amarognolo. Il retrogusto è intenso. Sul tetto della bocca arrivano sentori di camomilla, miele, crosta di pane, erbaceo, frutta secca, luppolo, resina, pino, agrumi e mango.

Bottle from a local supermarket. Grainy malt and soft floral hop aroma with notes of citrus, wheat, and lemon. Flavour is light sweet and above moderate bitter. Light body with a weak and watery character. Chuggable but lacks hop intensity, also too light bodied for its own good.

Flesje thuis gedronken. Goudgeel helder bier matig wit schuim. Aroma is moutig. Smaak is hoppig. De bittere smaak van de hop blijft even hangen.

330ml bottle. Pale gold, small white head, good retention. Aroma is citrus, herbs and pine; nice Taste starts more lager like, with pale malts and grain before the hops come to the fore with some citrus, coriander, pepper, mild bitterness in the finish. Could be better. Light bodied but fine for a session IPA Its ok but the hops could come through better.

33cl bottle. Pours rather pale yellow, with fine white foam. Aroma is yeasty, herbal, a little peppery. Body is a little thin, with moderate carbonation. Taste is moderate in both sweetness and bitterness. Final is average.

Helder lichtgeel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is licht bitter en dat is het dan ook wel. Heeft niets van de bitterheid die een goede IPA zou moeten hebben. Verder weinig smaak, dus zwaar teleurstellend.
