[Copenhagen 2017] Draft sample @ SKAAL. Dark orange, little tanned. Nose is hand soap, sugar, spoiled prune, spices. Taste is soap, candy, prune, nasty, too heavy poor sweet,… Hand soap & prune body, not really my thing.

50cl bottle from a trade with Rasmus40, thanks! Pours almost clear dark amber with a huge most good lasting beige head. Aroma of red fruits, reddish malt, some wood and spruce. Taste of strong reddish malt, caramel, red fruits, spruce, some spices.

Bottle. Clear amber, offwhite froth. Fruity aroma, strawberries (!), light caramel. Sweet, caramely flavour. Still more strawberries, toffee and a little spice. Finishes weirdly artificial. Odd.

Tap@Cafe Langebro, Copenhagen - amber reddish brown pour with with off-white head. Aroma and taste is medium sweet malty, caramel, toffeeish, prominent jule spices throughout, not bad.

500 ml bottle,Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 7.0%. Dark ruby colour, large off-white head. Fizzy carbonation. Aroma of malts, caramel, Christmas spices and berries, a hint of oranges. Malty flavour with caramel, liquorice and Christmas spices, a moderate fruity acidity, mild roasty notes, moderate hops in the finish. Not very sweet, and relatively light bodied for its strength. Quite good, I’d happily drink this with my Christmas roast duck. Should not be drunk too cold, best at cellar temperature.
