Fra flaske på Cardinal, DSJT nov-14: klar kobberfarge med hvitt skum. en rognebæraktig surhet/bitterhet sammen med mørke karameller i denne. Hverken fyldig eller blød synes jeg.

From bottle at DSJT at Cardinal 09.11.14. Clear amber. Small, beige head. Soft, sweetish and slightly unfresh aroma. Some bitterness in taste and aftertaste.

Sample from 50 cl. bottle. Hazy, orange colour with an off-white head. Sweet aroma with fruits, caramel malts, toasted, citrus and floral hops. Taste is light sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and slightly herbal bitter with fruits and caramel malts. Pleasant beer, unlike other Christmas beers the brewer hasn’t dropped a big load of spices in the pot.

Bottle 500ml @ My parent’s place
Pours cloudy brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, dried fruits and caramel. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

500ml bottle bought at Barley Wine in Copenhagen. Fair, off-white head. No lace. Near-clear amber body. Spiced, dry malts to the nose. Plain and mild chocolate to the fore in flavour partly offset by dry fruits. Soft, bittersweet endnotes. Ok on a dark Christmas evening at home (Tromsø, 26.12.2011).

Koppar färgad, mycket kolsyra och högt skum som långsamt lägger sig. Blommig humledoft a la EKG, jäst, mineraler, lite karamel och citrus. Smaken är sötbesk. Beskan finns med från början till slut utan att ta över, det gör istället sötman som är lite för mycket. Blommiga smaker som viol, lite mineraler och kolakakor. Munkänslan är småbubblig. Alkholen slår igenom lite. Skulle nog kunnastå ett halvår i a f.

Bottle. Hazy amber with medium head. Aroma is pomeran and citrus. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Hints of cloves and cinnamon. Palate is crisp and fresh.

Bottle @ Ølkonsortiet christmas beer tasting. Pours amber with a offwhite head. Aroma of malt, yeast, fruits. Taste is malt, caramel, yeast, sugar, dark fruits, lightly bitter hops. Medium body, soft carbonation. 051111

Bottle. Dark amber with medium tan head. Aroma is malt, fruit and a little caramel. Flavour is malt, little caramel, fruit and bitter.
