Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style C1C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L189907 (BBF 06/07/20). AROMA: medium apple aroma with notes of green apple and apple skin. slight farmyard and sulphury note. APPEARANCE: gold color and cristal clear. low white head with low retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium notes of green apple and apple skin. medium sweet background with a dry finish. PALATE: medium-light body with medium-high carbonation. slight astringency. OVERALL: a good french cider.

330ml bottle from a shop in Lisbon. Pours a generally clear pale gold. Aroma is vibrant caramelised apple, light honey. Crisp with a bright carbonation. Taste is typical Normandy brut cider, clean with low tannins, good fleshy fruity keeved character. Portugal seems to have finally found real cider thats not artificially flavoured or sweetened.
