Our 4th Collaboration with Deftones is a smooth and juicy New England-Style IPA. Being as big of fans of the style as we are, the band was looking for something loaded with citrus notes for the summer. We powered-up this 8-bit hazy brew with nelson, galaxy, mosaic and citra, then added simcoe cryo hops for that extra hop bob-omb!

No date. Never been too big of a Deftones fan, like their music but not huge into it. The more beer the better though! Kinda light mouthfeel, nice flavor but also get watery notes, maybe not fresh.

Can. Hazy straw beer with a big whitish head. Tropical fruit and citrus aroma. Tropical fruit and earthy flavor with grapefruit. Medium bodied. Good-decent bitterness. Earth and tropical fruit linger with grapefruit.

Pint can pours with a murky opaque dull gold to straw colored body that supports a frothy off white head of foam that leaves behind some spotty lacing. The aroma offers up mango, pineapple, guava and then ripe tangelo and tangerine. The taste delivers oat softened clementine and tangelo juice followed by a blend of mango, pineapple and guava. This achieves a tasty balance and depth of bitter and soft juicy tropical and citrus fruitiness. Solid brew.

Pour is a hazy lemon-aid with a small white head. Aroma is definitely very citrus forward with lemon and grapefruit. I also get a little pear. Flavor is pretty much all citrus with lots of grapefruit. Kind of like a citrus fruit cocktail. Pretty flavorful beer and the aroma might actually be even better.

16 oz can. Labeled as the 4th collaboration with Deftones. Why I've only seen two is a sad story. Love all I've heard and tried from the band and brewery both. Picked up the can at Beer Mongers, though the can made it's way up to Seattle now too, so I might be seeking out the 4 pack shortly. Thick body to this hazy. Tons of citrus, and a rind bitterness. Smooth, creamy, and flavorful. Not extremely unique or anything, but very tasty for sure.

Draft at Hops & Bottles. Hazy, pour, bubbly head. Two words...bitter, hazy. Grapefruit peel. More bitter than the normal hazy. That about it.

Tap at Cap Tap. Pours very hazy grapefruit color with a white head. Aroma is more citrus than anything. Could be a pine touch. Med body at least. Flavor is lactose/milkshake pine/citrus. Drier than might be expected. Quite bitter. Certainly somewhat different take on the milkshake fad, but a really good, bitter drink.

On tap at Bitter Creek, Boise Dense haze whitish pale yellow orange. Dense thin fine white head and thick lacing coating the sides of the glass. Sharp floral hop flavors. Dry maltiness. Moderate bitterness. Flavors are a bit odd.
