10/7/2019. Cask at the 30th Ealing Beer Festival. Pours clear bright gold with a frothy white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, malt, flowers and grass. Moderate sweetness and bitterness with a tart hint. Moderate body, watery and oily texture, soft carbonation. Fair.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 26th May 2019. Coppery amber with shallow foam and scant lacing. Mildly malty aroma. Wholesome blend of malts, cooked veg and hazelnut in-mouth, and a nutty malt finish. Fairly well-bodied with an engaging texture.

Cask @ Baum, Rochdale. Golden with a creamy head. Easy textured bitter with a lower bitterness and a very mild sweetness.

Cask at the Star and Garter, Bromley. Honey coloured pour with a white head. Nose of baked apple, sultanas, light citrus. Flavours of vanilla, more baked apple, light spice,. Very nice bitter.

(Cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico, London, 27 May 2018) Amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, toast and apricots. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, apricots, orange peel, toast and a balanced bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced bitter. Quite nice.

Cask gravity at Firkin Alehouse Folkestone. Clear amber colour lasting white head. Malty flavour some biscuit. Some OK bitterness on the finish some good citrus flavour. Good condition. Good drinkable bitter.

Cask at the Wellington; clear yellow pour with a thin off white head, aroma has light malts, taste has hint of citrus and sweet malts.

Like blackhaddock, I too, had a cask half pint of this sat outside the Salopian in the sunshine, but sadly on another day. Pours a golden amber, small white head. Lightly sweet aroma. Taste presents lightly sweet malts, and soft toffee. Decent bitter as bitters go.

Cask half-pint sat outside the Salopian Bar (Shrewsbury) in the afternoon sun on 19th July 2017. Golden pour, white topping. Refreshing enough with a decent malt/hop mix, semi-sweet with a fruity and slightly citrusy finish.
