Cask at the Six Bells, Cambridge. Dark gold, with a bit of loose white head. Scent of toffee, whiskey, hazelnut. Taste doesn’t live up to the aroma: bitter and sour without much variation to the long finish. Bittersweet aftertaste. Quite average really, which is par for the course for sporting event themed beers...

Half pint, hand pulled from cask at Bree Louise, Euston. Bare naked surface to a clear, amber-gold body. Subdued aroma of floral fruits. Malt-fruity taste. Dry on the swallow. Very average (London, 20.03.2011).
