500 ml bottle, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Very dark brown colour, nearly black. Huge beige head. Aroma of roast malts, dark chocolate and coffee, a hint of liquorice and earthy hops. Fairly light bodied. Medium dry flavour with the same elements as the aroma.

Backlog June 2017. Dark amber, close to black body under a thin beige head that fades quickly. Nice aroma of clean dark malt and chocolate malt. Taste is mild roasted dark malt, chocolate, cocoa powder and some dry fruit. Moderate bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste. Not great but decent, classic stout for the grocery marked.

Mørk brun med beige skum. Lukt av kaffe og lakris. Smaker kaffe, lakris, frukt. En stout som er veldig bra selv om det er butikkstyrke.

Big fizzy-creamy mediumladting head. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, dark malts, burnt toast, bloodlike minerals, roasted grain, sour coffee, bark, grass, soil, burtn rye bread, chocolate. Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish roasted, dark malts, weeds, burnt toast, rye bread, bloodlike minerals, grass, sour coffee, roasted grain, soil, paper, ashes, lactose. Medium to longlasting bitterness, harsh sour-ish roasted mouthfeel. Boring.

KØLF 020617. Black color with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, cocoa. Flavor is dry, molasses, sugar, chocolate, dried fruits, yeast. Nice beer.
