Draft. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of straw, butter, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

Tap@Shamrock Inn, Copenhagen (5/2/2017) - golden amber coloured pour with a white head. Fruity and malty aroma and taste, some tangerine, with some caramel sweetness, grassy piney hoppy bitter finish.

330ml bottle at the Dec 2016 Shrewsbury Beer Exchange Group meeting at Chez Sophie; cheers Mike for this Irish brew. Poured amber bronze, clear and clean looking, wispy off-white head. Malty aroma with a mini citrus ester or two. The taste was of semi-sweet caramel and a hop presence of both citrus and piny flavours: my sweet tooth liked this beer.

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, courtesy of Mike. Pours clear amber, thin off-white head. Caramel malt in the aroma. Taste is tired caramel malts, drying, harsh hops, crystal malt.. a bit unbalanced.

Bottle from O’Brien’s, Athlone [120815]
Dark amber, clear, frothy white head, slight lacing
Aroma of soft pine, soft hop nose, hint of earthy spicy hop
Taste of spicy hop initially, soft sweet clean caramel backbone, soft light fruit malts, but not over malty, dab of toasted malt, quite bitter spicy hops, some bitter zest, could be more hop fruity tbh
Palate - Soft carb, medium body, clean, bit oily, alcohol well hidden, no brewing faults. Finish is quite bitter
Overall - OK it’s not an IPA (too dark) but judged as a beer, although it’s not all that exciting, it’s quite good

Bottle at in laws, Roscommon, 25th July 15. Pours copper in colour, aroma caramel malt, not much hop character, taste is sweet malty caramel, like an American IPA with too much crystal malt ruining. It’s also filtered and clear, lacks character and differentiation. Poor for the style

Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles’s place. Thanks Tom L. Clear golden. Aroma of minerals and some earthy hops. Flavor of earthy hops with a citric note, sweetish dusty malt, minerals, and a bitterish finish. Medium-bodied.

Bottle. Clean Amber with a solid head. Aroma is mandarin and wood. Flavour is citrus, a little spice and wood, no real kick from the hop.
