Sample (thanks fonefan!). Deep coppery colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is plum, toffee, some wooden, vanillaish and mild rum like notes. Flavour is dried fruits, some toffee, mild plum, alcohol, wood and mild raisins. Very smooth. Good dessert beer.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Hazy ruby/brown, small head. Caramelly nose with some aquavit. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Caramel, aniseed and aquavit. Mild peppery finish.

Flesje gedeeld met Tomhendriksen. Donker rood tot bruin bier met beige schuim. Aroma is fruitig van zwarte kers en bessen. De smaak begint met het idee van een snoepstok/wijnstok om daarna de alcohol te proeven en te voelen. De fruitige smaak blijft heel even hangen. Jammer dat de 'barrel'-smaak niet tot z'n recht komt.

Fles gedeelt door Inoven, het is een donkerbruin bier met een rode gloed. Het heeft een dunne beige schuim. Het aroma is gebrande mout, gedroogd rood fruit, bessen en kersen, caramel achtig. De smaak is warm, gedroogd fruit, bessen, salmiak en drop met een wat kruidige afdronk. Het eikenhout/de vaten haal ik er niet echt uit.

I ordered this as I liked the name and have never had anything from White Pony: Boring Night in a Sex chat room BA Barleywine 11.2% Ruby brown, opaque with a 1cm head of beige foam and a malty sweet bourbon and molasses aroma. Quite full bodied with a pretty rounded carbonation. The taste is lovely all sweet bright fruitiness but quite rounded and approachable with a hint of barrel tannic oakiness. Very smooth. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampled from bottle @ RBBWG 2018, hosted by Beerlovers Bar, Antwerp. Unclear brownish color, average sized beige head. Smell and taste lightly malts, very sweet, sugary, caramelised sugars. Decent body and decent to medium carbonation. Ok.

ABV: 11.9%. Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, dark malt, dried fruit, barrel - vanilla, alcohol - aquavit, light bread. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, caramel, sweet malt, dried fruit, barrel - vanilla, aquavit, light bread, balanced. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20210512]

Bottle sample @ RBBWG Mar 10h. 2018, thanks Rubin77. Cuivrée, col beige. Arôme de pomme caramel, fruité léger et fermentés, note de sucre résiduel voire candi, fruité moyen. Palais est malté caramel pomme, barrique assez douce et modérée avec un petit effet levure belge en fin de bouche, alcool est là et réchauffant, alcool st cependant bcp trop présent.
