The opposite of Death. A Triple IPA packed with pine notes and tropical fruit flavours, for people that prefer the light side.

Now, what kind of a beer could stand shoulder to shoulder with an incredible Imperial Stout

A triple IPA called Glory, of course!

Upon tasting it from tank, we were bowled over by the balance and how damn righteous this beer is. Bright, fresh citrus fruits absolutely shine in this brew.

440ml can from Hop Burns & Black. Pours slightly hazy yellowish with a smooth white head. Aroma of citrusy hops, grass, pine, herbal notes and tropical fruits. Taste is sweetish, tropical fruity and citrusy hoppy with some grass, herbal notes, pine and malty notes. Finish is sweetish, slightly fruity and citrusy hoppy with some grass, herbal notes, pine and tropical notes. Okay, sweet and fruity TIPA, alcohol is quite well hidden.

Drank from the can, to perserve all the volotile aromatics. Smell is intense, pine, tropical, citrus, stong malty backbone, mild booze. Taste is strong, but not as boozy as some other examples. maltyness is very prominently there, applying some neccesary sweetness to the strong hops. The hops are resinous, but not overly so. Tropical fruit, but not like a fruit-juice thing. Citrussy, but not sharp or cat-pee like. I'd say this has a great balanse, who would have thought this was possible in a TIPA ? Carbonation is perhaps a tad to much for my personal liking (others will prefer) . Very , very well made TIPA. Perhaps one of the best in style so far. Love the artwork of the can as well!

440ml can. Murky golden colour with a small head. Aroma of citrus fruits, stone fruit, mango. Taste is fruity, citrus, pineapple, mango, peach, hop spice, pretty boozy with a bit of alcohol warmth or hop burn, yet still surprisingly drinkable at 10.5%. Medium body and carbonation, smooth mouthfeel. Great TrIPA.

(440ml can from boxbeers.dk) Pours moderately hazy deep gold with a big white head. Aroma is rather soft and consists of citrus peels, unripe mango and pineapple, pale malt, somewhat skunky hops. Flavour of sweet and built around a clear core of pale malt, with sweet orange, grapefruit/bitter lemon peels, unripe mango, citrus oil, fresh grass, a herbal/leafy/hop pellet feel. Semi-dry, not very bitter but a bit astringent and vegetal back end, a little drying alcohol. Medium bodied and oily with soft carbonation. Generally lacks vibrancy, which I know Northern Monk are capable of (Moob It).
