Bottle shared at the Bottle Shop during Cloin's 40th birthday bash. Pours clear yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. Nose holds lightly tangy citrus, lemon, some herbs. Lightly sweet, heavy on the minerals, lemon rind, some grass. Light bodied with average carbonation. Dry minerally finish, flinty, more grass, pine needles. Very so so.

Bottle from Wine And Beer Direct, Halifax. Golden with a thick bubbly head. Lots of carbonation, many hops, and plenty of citrus that makes it zesty and somewhat sour with lots of activity in the palate. This is fruity.

Bottle split at the Bottle Shop during my 40th bash, thanks to LKS, 11/10/14. Lightly hazed golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is citric pith, hops, light pee, spice, grass. Taste comprises mineral vibes, astringent bitterness, spice, herbal leanings, citric pith, bitter orange. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so.

Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours clear golden with a thick off-white head. The nose is soft, doughy, cereal, stone fruits, brioche, lemon meringue and light veg. The taste is smooth, doughy, citrus peel, creamy, straw, grass, lemon, grapefruit and a touch of spice with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. OK, but a not blown away. Perhaps a touch old?

330ml bottle. Pours murky orange with lasting white head. Decent piney orange aroma from the Zythos hop, lots of Citra citrus in the taste with an assured bitterness and dry finish. Some spice and floral notes. Very nice IPA I have to say.

Hazy gold - amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light dry. Modest carbonation. Thin malt bas. Nice Citra hops - fresh floral orange with a touch of peel bitterness. A very light pineapple streak runs throughout. Light dry finish. Tasty and drinkable if a tad dry.

Bottle from Bier Huis, Ossett. Hazy, dark gold. Minimal white head. First time I’ve heard of this hop, let alone tried it. Fusty orange. Orange pith. Sweet, lightly spicy malt. Taste is fusty sweet. Light, spicy dryness. Citra bitterness in there. Palate is a bit dull and a little lifeless. Minimal carbonation. Not the best platform to show off a big IPA. One of those beers that obviously has big potential, and needs another pop at.
