31/7/2020. Bottle from the brewery. Pours clear dark gold with a short lasting off-white head. Aroma is fruity, citrus, peachy, malty, touch cardboard. Moderate sweetness and light bitterness with sour notes. Moderate body, slight oily texture, above average carbonation. Bit disappointing.

2nd June 2018, cask half-pint at the Abbey Grange Hotel, next to the brewery. By far the better of the three beers I had while there. This had condition and depth of body unlike the other two. Golden/amber body, clean and clear, white pillow on top. Citrus notes in both the nose and taste, pale malts? calm the lemon/grapefruit esters and flavours down nicely. Pleased I can write something positive about one of their beers because I do not like to hit the little man.

Cask @ Abbey Grange Hotel, Llangollen. Spelt Holy Grale on the pump clip. Amber with no head. Has a sticky texture, is sugary with a mild stewed fruitiness. Has a similar nose.

Cask @ Cambrian Railway Station as part of Oswestry Food & Drink Festival July 14. Pours copper, no head. Flat, muted flavours, mild fruit, extremely light hops, insipid watery taste.
