Pours black, big tanned head, stable. Scent is roasty, ashy aspect even. Sharp ness from the berries I wouldn't recongize blindly , as well as an earthy touch by the chestnut. Taste is full, roasty, surprisingly calm on the additives, you do taste a certain something, but I wouldn't have been able to call it out specifically. Nice enough imperial stout, but a bit underwhelming to have the 3sons name to it. Thick, but not crazy. Tasty, but not more than average ( perhaps even a tad less) in the current market. OK ...

Smooth mild grainy, deep. Caramel, plums, deep. Wood, sticky grain. Deep caramelly plums and red cherries. Great fruity deep finish.

11-04-21 // RB-Tasting. Taster. Absacker. Imperial Stout but different. Chestnuts and blueberries. Hmm. Thicker mouthfeel. Bigger sweetness. Lower roast.

Intensiv malziger Beginn, leichte Schärfe. Cremig, etwas Schokolade, die säuerliche Fruchtigkeit passt nicht sonderlich. Moderat würzig, zu süß, unrund. Okay. 10/8/8/9/8/8

44cl can. A black beer with a beige head. Aroma of dark strong sweet caramelized malt, chocolate, vanilla. Taste of sweet dark chocolate malt, liquorice, caramel, chocolate malt, nice.

Oh that's much more interesting. It's a bit like putting your face in a plum pillow. Yeah, I know, we've all done it. Satisfyingly thick and black. Well worth it's 11%

Tap @ Cellar, Chester. Pitch black pour, deep beige head. Nice smooth impy overall, rich layered dark malts and good rich chocolate with some entertaining almond vanilla moves on the finish. Very nice.

Pours a bit viscous to a towering layered brown to tan head, fed by finely carbonated, almost black red-brown beer. Active carbon, roast, coal, alcohol impregnated wood, and a fleeting and reappearing fruity aroma, difficult to pinpoint. Roast, but also an explosion of dark fruit with an almost metallic bitter overtone. Nutty, chocolate, chocolate oakcookies. Creamy MF (the oats), full bodied, 'hot' aftertaste with chili chocolate, long-lasting. Quite good, even impressive!

Smells like milk chocolate and lactose, vanilla, coffee, cacao, toasted, nice taste, sweet, some earty/nutty flavors, sugary sweet, didn’t get the blueberries, overall nice stuff, hmmm warming up isn’t a good idea

Canned 440ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him and hrabren. Pitch black coloured, medium sized brown head, roast and alcohol in the nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, some berries, discreet smoke and light alcohol with quite sweet finish.
