Some legends have to be honored, and this time it's The Dude, Walter and Donny, the main trio of an epic spectacle and ode to laziness, The Big Lebowski! 2018 marks 20 years since its initial release, and we decided to combine it with an experimental hop variety - HBC 438. The result is American style IPA that we named Hill 438. Fun fact: the promotion of the beer coincided with The Hop Breeding Company's announcement that the HBC 438 variety is no longer experimental and is being officially released as SABRO™.
Hill 438 is standard American IPA - dry and easy with a bitter finish. HBC 438 hop provides additional complexity with coconut flavor and peach/apricot aroma.

From tap at Craft Beer To Go Zagreb. Hazy orange coloured, minimal white head, heavy citrusy hoppy nose. Moderate malty, tropical fruits and citrus (oranges mostly). Dry and strong bitter finish and aftertaste. Well done.

On tap at Fakin Craft Bar, Zagreb. Cloudy orange, small off-white head. Moderately hoppy, fruity, orange, stone fruit, very nice. Moderately bitter, fruity flavours. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, very dry finish.

Tap at Hop In. Enormous aroma... Tropical fruit, stone fruit, orange juice, herbal. Taste... Silky smooth peachy and tropical and citric. And smooth and silky and a bit dank and I think I'm starting to really like this! Excellent!
