Other Half are one of the most hyped brewers in the world for a good reason. They make killer Double DDH IPAs.

We love DDH IPAs as much as anyone so we didn't have to think much and we brewed a huge 10% ABV DDH IPA, hopped generously with Galaxy, Bru-1 and Enigma hops. We balanced off the boozyness with lactose and oats.

Can. Unclear darker yellow color, full sized whitw to off-white head. Aroma is malts, heavy resinoua hops, sticky hops. Flavor has a heavy malty base, with on top of that more of that resinous hoppiness, spruce, sticky hops, hop bitter although I had expected it to be more bitter. The aticky overwhelming hoppiness makes it a little more sweet I presume. But bot oh boy, this is an old school one it seems. In any case it's been quite a while since I've had a DIPA with these sticky hop and resinous notes. Lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed this one.

0,5 l can. Pours hazy orange with medium, lasting off white head. Aroma is rich, plenty of citruses, tropical fruit, caramel, sweet all on a decent malt base, barley, bread, . Alcohol is well hidden. Taste is quite heavy sweet with medium bitterness. Finish is long, fruity, rich, moderately bitter, alcohol is more prominent. Proper drink.

Pours bit unclear, warm blonde. Creamy, medium sized white head. Smell is strong, malty, piny undertone. No real booze, but the scent gives away it's a strong and intense beer. Taste is very full, malty, bit 'funky' malts. Perhaps a lot of oats / rye ? Sweet beer ( lactose ) with a fruity ( pineapple, mostly ) and piny back. Very low on bitterness. Creamy, lower carbo. Long finish ( malts and fruits ) Very intense !

Draught @ Pien, Helsinki. Heavy, sweet and caramely malty with some boozy notes, pine, resin, tropical fruits, citrus and grapefruit. Feels more like a West coast TIPA than a NEDIPA. A bit too boozy and not bitter enough for that though.
