Can from Beer 52 – drank at home. Pours a very dark mahogany with a sizeable but transient beige hea. There’s coffee and burnt toast vin the aroma. Smooth and creamy on the tongue with roasted malts prominent. Raisins, coffee , chocolate and a hint of orange cpeel are in there as well. Finish is dry and slightly bitter. This is a pretty impressive porter.

[An attractive 33cl can, from Beer52.] A glossy, opaque peaty brown pour with a thin beige head; aroma of charred grains and coffee; smooth in the mouth with a milky consistency and a sweet roasted malt taste; then some coffee grounds adding a bitterness to the finish. A very drinkable porter.
