The second rendition in our refreshment seeking Lemonade IPA series with Evil Twin. A refreshing drink often associated with childhood nostalgia to others a pop-cultural symbol of emancipation.
Whatever the association we teamed up with good old Swedes, Henok and Karl of the fashionable Omnipollo to squeeze out a tasty, tempting and deceivingly well balanced IPA with sweet and sour notes of old-fashioned memories. Perhaps you can taste the dishonesty, it’s all over your breath - it’s Lemonade.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: golden copper semi-cloudiness with a two finger white foamy head which died off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: actually smells just like lemonade and with a little bit of lemon zest and some bready malts
Flavor: the tart to semi-sour sort of vibe from the lemonade quality; finishes more like lemonade than beer
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness but also the noted lemonade subtle zippy feature
Overall: is there a beer in here somewhere? I'm trying to figure out what the difference between this beer and the "old fashioned lemonade IPA." Hmmm, in other words, thanks for the gimmick again, Evil Twin and the Brewver tick.

Canned (from Systembolaget Umeå). Orange colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some toffee and mild herbal notes. Flavour is grapefruit juice, some spruce, wood and mild syrupy notes. Good breakfast beverage.

(Can) Golden amber colour with big, frothy, white head. Fruity, slightly hoppy nose with notes of raspberries, lemon, peaches and white bread. Fruity, slightly tart taste with raspberries, lemon, mandarin, peaches, passion-fruit, white bread and a mild herbal/citric bitterness in a slightly bitter-sour finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Interesting and slightly confusing. Should I dismiss it as an artificial novelty stunt or embrace the refreshing tart fruit character? Hm. Going for the latter. Really nice.

From a 12oz can Cloudy orange witha quick fleeting white head. Citrusy tropical hop aromas and flavors. Soft sweet lemon flavors as well. A bit sweet but packed with the lemmonade flavors.

12 oz. Aroma is caramel, bready, raspberry, lemon, root beer, age. Pours hazy golden with chunks of sediment and a quickly collapsing bone-white head. Taste is sweet, lightly tart, with flavors like the aroma; tastes old, though, with too much caramel malt peeking through. Perfect mouthfeel. It's not terrible, even with the old flavors, thankfully. Wish I could understand their date codes.

0.355 l can from 'Ace Drinks' as an extra, thanks a lot! Hazy, golden yellow with a thin, slightly fluffy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, intensely fruity aroma of grapefruit, lemon and maybe some raspberry. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, a little sourish, fairly fruity taste of grapefruit, lemon, raspberry, redcurrant and a touch of rhubarb, followed by a short, gently bitter, a little tart, a bit grassy finish with a pleasant little hop burn. Almost medium-bodied, quite effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Very refreshing, like a lemonade indeed, just a lot better! One of the best Fruit IPA's I've ever had.

God voksenbrus!
