Typische zachte Helles, beetje honingzoet en licht grassig, matig bitter. Hoge doordrinkbaarheid maar weinig spannend. Foutloos, dat dan weer wel.

500 ml bottle. Pours clear dark golden, fluffy head. Hay, citrus, bread. Beginns with a crisp and fresh bitterness and ends sweet with some floral notes. Carbonation is soft, texture is creamy to watery. Medium bodied. Smooth. Solid Märzen.

Kaum würziger, hell herber Antrunk. Die Würzigkeit bleibt gering, fast wässrig. Mild herb hopfiger Nachhall. Langweilig. 8/8/7/7/8/7

Bottle at home. Pours clear golden with a thick white head. Aromas of corn, sugar, honey. Taste is white bread-sweet. Faint grass notes on the finish, but sweetness dominates.

Pours a clear yellow color with a moderate head on it. A little sweet nose to it. Taste is also sweet, but not overwhelmingly so

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Sweet and bready (cara-)malty, also slightly draffy aroma with herbal and slightly sweaty hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Hearty malty taste, slightly bready with light hints of cara-malt and herbal accents; sweet-bitter and slightly hoppy finish. Bottle (kindly delivered by joss!): Golden, a bit unclear, loose persistent white head; quite solid sweet grainy-malty nose; relatively dry bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; some hops detectable in the solid and dry grainy-bitter finish. Good, good brew.............

Bottle. Golden, white cream, visible carbonation. Spicy malt and herb nose. Fat malt base balanced by herbal and perfumed hops. Grassy and spicy retronasal. Well balanced and moreish.

previously tested on BTO 12/2006: Das Ustersbacher Weihnachtsbier zeigt sich von seiner besten Seite, tiefgelb und mit ordentlich Schaum, der alleridngs sehr grobporig ist und schnell von dannen schwindet. Malziger Duft, malziger Antrunk und Mittelteil. Wirkt sehr süffig. Leichte Hopfennote untermalt das Ganze, insgesamt aber sehr malzbetont. Ziemlich kräftig und würzig. Gutes Weihnachtsbier.
