Keg at the kernel tap room. A vicious black brown coloured pour with a lasting dark tan head. Aroma is big resinous piney hop, coffee. Woody roast, liquorice, Stixky pine needles. Flavour is composed of big bold bitter roast, bitter pine, woody bark, pine needles.. Palate is thick and velvety, mellow carbonation. Supurb.

Bottle from the brewery in Bermondsey and drunk on a train . Black beer lasting tan head. Dark chocolate but hoppy aroma. Some dry dark chocolate flavour some lime. It's a dry stout. Hides abv well. A little heat sting on the finish. Yes not their top most but still very tasty, good dark chocolate. Bit too citrus fruity for me. Oranges coffee

Bottle. Wine Rack, Sharrow, Sheffield. Sits almost black in the glass. Thick, moderately dense, lasting, mocha coloured head. Nose has blackened citrus. Charred malt. Mint leaf. Blackcurrant. As it warms there’s peachy, apricot hop. Taste has dark and earthy bitterness. Minimal sweetness here. Pretty punchy stuff. Medium body. Pretty oily. Fine carbonation. Full on, lingering roast malt and citrus bitterness to finish. Big and tasty CDA.

330ml bottle from Hop Burns and Black. Pours black with a medium-sized creamy tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, pine, dark chocolate. Taste is roasted malt, citrus, pine and coffee. Long bitter finish. Preferred the regular India Porter, but this is pretty awesome too.

330ml bottle. Roasty, massively hoppy and grassy with some coffee, chocolate, pine, resin, citrus and lingering bitterness. Pure roasty and hoppy awesomeness, just the way I like it.
