Can split at the Tilt SHN meet up thanks to SHIG, Bingohame, 07/12/19. Lightly hazed mahogany brown with a decent beige cap. Nose is toffee, sweet malts, dried fruits, brown sugar melt, light herbal notes. Taste comprises sweet malts, fruit cake, toffee fudge, brown sugar melt, caramel, pinch of spice, light barrel strokes. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of alcohol. Decent.

Tasting at Salesforce, can
Filthy brown with no head. Weird smell, soap/perfume, anise, some caramel, candies. Sweet, some caramel, no malt depth, strong spices, too much perfume, burning alcohol.
An abomination.

Cloudy copper with no head. Lots of soft well blended spice. Cinnamon, soft buttery spice and clove. Much like the nose with a touch of wood and spice. I really like it.

16oz at Sales Force. Appearance: murky amber with a tan head. Aroma: tons of spices with lots of cloves and mint. Taste: very sweet, along the same lines. Overall: spices bomb.

16 oz. can, pours a dark amber / mahogany with a tiny beige head. Aroma is loaded with some strange spices -- nutmeg, gingerbread, and orange peel, with heaps of rum barrel character. Flavour is very boozy and spicy -- this is a head-scratcher. There's lots of rum barrel, booziness, lots of weird herbal notes, nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice?, gingerbread, and who knows what else. Discordant and lacking elegance -- there's lot of harsh booziness. Despite all that, it's fairly pleasant in small amounts.

Dull pale brown, no head and it looks fairly flat. Whacky aroma has a lot of herbs, a fair bit of sweetness from the rum, maybe a bit of tartness. It's actually a bit of a mess on the palate, with herbs, rum, wood, lots of alcohol. The base BW is actually a bit strange, hard to pick out. I mean, I don't hate it. But it's pretty weird.
