Multiple times tap at Harajuku taproom. Slight herbal nose with some stone fruit, caramel and light earthiness. Easy on the palate with a little more of the stone fruit notes. Well-balanced with a herbal, light crisp finish. Decent enough.

I don’t know what batch it was, but it was listed as 5.9% and tasted at the beginning of June, 2016. Had it on cask in Harajuku. Looks flat, hazy, amber, no head. Earthy Esa sort of nose, light body, mild hops, light fruitiness, a delicate strong ale.

140 ml glass on cask at Baird’s Harajuku Taproom. 5.9% ABV, I’ll assume it’s this batch recipe still unless I hear otherwise. Hazy golden orange with thin off-white head. Aromas of stone fruit, caramel, citrus. Tastes of citrus, stone fruit, floral notes. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

lots German malts and minimum hops. But with strange sake yeast. A touch of dycytle. Odd. Especially at a warm temp it just doesn’t work at all. Hoping for a lot delivers a little.

Dark gold, thin lacy head, very cloudy.. Bery hoppy, fruity aroma—European hops, maybe goldings? Citrus and pine. Malty flavor with honey, pine, earth, and caramel. Decent but rather thick and unlively. Very drinkable but not super exciting. RA at Harajuku
