Can. Turner’s, Sheffield. 5.8%. Hazy yellow. Blotchy, white head, with lots of lacing. Nose has sweet, cereal grain. A bit worty. Some nice enough hop notes, along the line of citrus and stone fruit. Overall, though, it’s a bit cheap lager-ish. Taste is fairly sweet, with more of the cereal grain. Light hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is decent. Clean, with bright carbonation. Some bitterness to finish, but it’s weighed down by the cereal thing.

500ml can. Clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is hoppy, fruity and floral, citrus, vaguely tropical. Taste is fruity and floral, stone fruits, orange and lemon, light malts, sweet, low bitterness. Light-medium bodied, average carbonation. An excellent pilsner, loads more flavour than I was expecting.

Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is tropical hops with apricots, mangoes and zesty citrusy notes, as well as malts with cereals and toffee. A tad on the sweet side.

Can from Bottle Baron. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of lemon and wet grass. Flavour of sweet cereal, pear peel and lemon pith. Thin to medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. There’s a faint sourness on the finish I didn’t like. This is like a super sweet macro Lager with a few extra handfuls of hops. I couldn’t finish it.
