Sample, thanks fonefan! Clear deep mahogany colour, small head. Aroma of bourbon and milk chocolate. Mid sweet with full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Dates, caramel a milk chocolate on rich oaky bourbon. Warming mid bitter finish.

12 oz. can, pours a deep dark mahogany-tinged brown with a medium beige head. Aroma is full of rich, deep caramel malt, well-situated bourbon barrels, and a touch of red fruit. Flavour is complex and refined, with a wonderfully deep caramel malt base that is accentuated by deep, vanilla-y bourbon barrels. The barrels have a touch of smokiness, pleasant booziness, and a little butterscotch. Damn good base malts and barrel treatment. Excellent.

Thanks fonefan! Coppery brown colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is toffee, some mild alcohol, spiciness, lovely sweet malts to it. Flavour is toffee, some spiciness, sweet malts, alcohol and nicely fudgey tones. Lovely balance to this one, though alcohol is quite evident. Yumyum!

Can. Color: Clear dark copper, thin beige head. Aroma: Bourbon, dark fruit, caramel malt. Taste: Sweetish but not too sweet, boozy hints, raisins, figs, some almond, caramel fudge, Bourbon, notes of oak wood and a floral hop backbone. Full body, below average carbonation. Medium sweet, over moderate bitterness.

T- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish.
O- A fantastic scotch ale. Loads of toffee and a touch of sweetness. Had some peaty whisky flavor and a faint herbal note to it. Barrel is nice but doesn't over up the base beer. Complex and delicious.
