Backlog. SBWF2022. Thanks Helena. Rubyish amber colour with no head. Aroma is raisins, some sweet dried fruits, plum and mild toffee tones. Flavour is quite similar to the aroma, but alcohol gives it a warming feel. Interesting.

Brun tåkete med flyktig hvitt skum. Lukter akohol og rosin. Fyldig. Søt. Smaker sirup, honning, mot mjød, svisker og brunt sukket. Lang.

Tåkete brun uten skum. Lukter alkohol, rosiner. Smooth og søt. Smaker litt som mjød. Smaker honning, rosiner og alkohol.

Small sample at SBWF 2022. Poured clear and ruby in color. Mostly plum and soaked raisins but also some port like notes. Obviously showing heat from the ABV but still managing to be drinkable ( ~ 5cl sample).

Bottle shared by E. Dark ruby with almost no head. Syrupy rye bread with extra honey, raisins, prunes, burnt sugar. Sooooo sweet.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 27 Sep 2019) Dark reddish brown colour with almost no head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of raisins, prunes, caramel and burnt sugar. Malty, fruity taste with dried fruit, raisin, prunes, burnt sugar and a mild bitterness in a warming, vinous finish. Full body, really sweet. More like an altbier/doppelsticke than a kölsch, but really tasty and warming. Nice one.

Sample from bottle at SBWF 2019. Dark brownish/amber with no head. Really, really sweet with port wine, caramel and a lot of dried fruit. The body was full and the finish with warming alcohol. Better than expected.

Bottled at SBWF 19. Almost clear mahogany colour, no head. Aroma of port wine and ginger snaps. Very sweet with full body and rounded, viscous mouthfeel. Raisin port and caramel. Warming finish.
