Its slight bitterness gives it a slightly fruity and hoppy aroma. Not too strong but round strong character. A powerful beer structure and a lovely strength. The bubble is fine and soft . The palate is smooth, round and fruity (pear, orange, blond tobacco, milk chocolate). In the end palate, a tangy side and a little bitterness is clearer, giving it balance with its freshness.

Bottle at De Paas. Hazy golden pour with large white head. Aroma is yeasty with citrus and coriander. Wheat and yeast flavors with citrus. Carbonation is too high.

This one scores average. Everything is pretty okay about this one. Lacked a bit in smell.

Bottle. It pours an almost clear body, golden in color and with a small, white head leaving lacings. The aroma could use a bit more punch, but it isnβt bad in any way. Pale malts and fruityness blends nicely, but it lacks depth and punch. Itβs fruitysweet in the mouth, with pale malts as a foundation. Not much bitterness going on, neither initially nor in the end. Medium body, nicely carbonated. A decent blonde, not impressing, not disappointing. 110107

330 ml stubby bottle, as Bocq Gauloise Blonde, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.3%, Ext.Sec .Prim. 14,0%. Hazy pale yellow colour, huge white head. Nice fruity and mildly spicy aroma of Belgian ale yeast, some grassy and herbal hops too. Mild and slightly spicy flavour, some light fruit too, high level of carbonation, refreshing.

330 ml bottle. Clear golden body with a big, fluffy white head. Aroma feels sweet and mild spicy with a hint of citric fruit. Quite light, refreshing, fruity and a bit sweet flavor without much bitterness. I find this a bit to mild overall to really be able to enjoy the beer.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Rich blonde ale, only mildy fruity. Lip smackingly refreshing with a creamy finish. Great beer!

330 ml bottle. Honey and biscuit aroma with a bit of butter, lemon, wheat, and apple. Creamy, somewhat lactic, brings expectation of sweetness. Cloudy golden with a fine head going to presistant lace, lots of bubbles coming up from below. lemon and bread flavors at first, with butter, honey, light spice. Not particularly sweet, with a sour edge and light bitterness. Something kind of muddy and dull in there too. Ok, but somewhat dull and lifeless, with too much diacetyl.
