very nice dark black pour with an amber beige head. aroma is quite roasty, some really nice roasted malt, mixed in with brown sugar, and a beautiful note of maple syrup. The flavor is again loaded with maple syrup, but its not overpowering of cloying. Its really a welcome flavo its balanced very very well with the roastiness of the stout. There is a slight bitterness in the finish that ends with a really nice maple syrup aftertaste. this is a really nice stout, and very well done!

473ml can. Pours an opaque dark brown, almost black with a small, creamy, short lived, tan head that laces. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, maple syrup, caramel, cocoa, vanilla and light coffee. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, burnt maple syrup, dark chocolate, earth and molasses in a dry, bitter coffee finish. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. A little sweet, but still tasty.

Really nice Canadian take on a stout. The base stout is spot on with the full body of a much stronger stout. The maple adds a sweetness on the nose. 750ml bottle.

Poured from 650mL bottle. Dark brown with very quickly dissipating tan head. Aroma of salty caramel, maple and roasted malt. Flavour the same, doesn’t quite blend, but works nonetheless. Body is quite light however. Would drink again, but don’t expect a stout.
