Perfectly balanced bitterness, a result of Czech hops, is what is best about this beer.
The taste is exceptionally malty, thanks to the two types of malt we use when brewing Bastard.
While each sip gives you the pleasant feeling of warming alcohol and perfect taste.

Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass deep golden, small head. Dry malty aroma. Starts malty, spicy, some sharp notes, light alcoholic. Metallical background. Finish more balanced, more spicy. Not bad.

# 2009; 5/2020. Yeasty to mouldy aroma. Brilliant gold body, creamy head. Mouldy, light bodied, malty, glucose syrup. Very poor bohemian lager. 0,3 l, bottle, local pub, Míšov (Bohemia, CZ).

Bottle on the train from Bubny, 750708, 13/07/17. Clear golden with a decent off white head ... I believe! Nose is rather muted, pale malts, grains, cereals, corn husk, sweet notes. Taste comprises bread dough, grains, sweet malts, grassy. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close Mediocre at best.

33cl bottle from Pivotéka U Modrého Lva, České Budějovice. Pours clear golden with a white head. Grainy aroma with sweet, fruity notes, hints of honey. Sweet and grainy with mild fruity flavours and a light bitterness. Not too bad, but nothing to write home about either.
