A red-eye flight is any flight departing late at night and arriving early the next morning. The term derives from the fatigue symptom of having red eyes, which can be caused or aggravated by late-night travel.
Shake off and wake up with our powerful and rich mocha porter, Red Eye Flight. It starts with our rich and roasty blend of seven malts, before adding in high-quality organic cacao and finishing off with a cold-infusion of Three Hills Coffee’s Sumatran coffee beans, roasted exactly to our specification. Crack one open to unleash a waft of fresh ground coffee aroma, followed by a smooth mouthfeel, and creamy toffee, coffee acidity, and bitter cocoa nib flavour.

Bottle labelled as Red Eye Bourbon Barrel. I assume it's the same as strength and descriptions seem to match. Black beer, thin head. Aroma is earthy coffee and spirits. Flavour is roasted coffee, chocolate, smooth but distinct bourbon, a little dry woodiness. Lasting, rich and smooth. Very tasty.

Tap @ Kippis Festival, Helsinki. Poured pretty much black in color with a brown head. Impressive barrel notes in this one, good amount of coffee and roastedness. Balanced, bourbony bodied finish. Really tasty imperial stout.

Keg at BD Mighty Boost, 01/11/19. Black with a decent tan cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is coffee grinds, spice, mellow bourbon barrel, light charr, chocolate. Taste comprises chocolate, coffee bean, mellow well integrated barrel, light roast, background dried fruits, toffee, toasted brown sugars. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a rising balanced boost. Solid impy affair ... drinks pretty easy for the ABV.
