Le Poisson Doré is a luxurious strong barrel-aged saison with a golden touch: We added boiled blood oranges to enrich the complex yeast profile of the Saison and Brettanomyces yeasts. A perfect beer for the winter season.
We named it after the golden fish caught by a poor fishing couple in a tale by Pushkin. They returned the fish to the sea and were granted wishes in return, but greed got the better of them.
