Waxed bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours very dark brn/blk with a foamy/creamy dark tan/brown head. Aroma of red berry and burnt/toasted malt. Full bodied. Flavor is burnt malt, red berry, vinous, wood, light heat, chocolate and spice - arguably that's astringency or tannins from the wood. Not dry but far from sticky. Bitter, arguably from the burnt malt. Upon reflection there's a deal of port in this. Very good stuff.

Bottle. Pours a pitch black hue with a medium though dissipating dark brown head. A big nose of roast, vanilla, vinous red wine. Fresh red wine flavors, oak, really rich, tobacco, roast, vanilla, some smoke. Works perfectly. Smooth, but big.
