At Winter Beer Fest 2017, Waregem. Shared with Anke!
Hazy brown with a small, off-white head. Aroma of yeast, cookie dough, wood, wine and port. It tastes light yeasty sour and light to medium bitter; yeasty, dry finish. Light/medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Very straightforward in aroma and taste, not very spectacular, as the name would suggest.

Bottle at Modeste 2017. Bottle 8/23 . Pours dark brown, small white head. Smell is dark chocolate, mild sweetness. Rather low intensity. Nice roastyness. Taste is sharp, mild roastyness. Chocolatty, aromatic. Not too sweet at all.

Thanksl! Sampled bottle @ Modeste 2017. 23 bottles made. I agreed to a yeast shot in my sample after getting the question whether I objected to one from one of the brewers. Ugly murky with tanned head, my ad. Nose is murky dead heavy, cold powdery old stale chocolate. Bit empty somewhat BE with stale old chocolate, yeasty, empty malty, powdery,… Powdery & yeasty bodied. Not very exciting.
