Draft. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, hops, and fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, citrus fruits, malt, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish. OK, but not exciting for a DIPA.

330ml bottle picked up at Lolita Canalla Craft Beer Cafe in Altea. Bubbly pearl white head over a close to clear yellow-gold body. Lacing rings down the glass. Moderate aromas of herbal hops with a tropical touch. Taste of resinous hops followed by citrus peels to a decent bitter tail. Well bodied. Pretty good. (Hotel room, Albir 11.04.2019).

Bottle at Frankfurt Airport. Hazy, sort of one of those dull hazes, with a medium head. Some pine and grapefruit but generally the hops are quite stale, obvious oxidation, some cardboard. I think this works structurally but hop freshness is definitely an issue here.

Dark golden colour with lasting fluffy head. Aroma and flavour have a subtle fruitiness. A touch of citrus and also tropical fruit. Very crisp and clean for its strength. Really refreshing dry finish.

24 September 2025. At Bitburger Bierhaus Bad Münstereifel. Shared with the lovely Anke!
A: hazy amber, small, foamy, off-white head.
A: mandarin rind, grapefruit peel, apricot jam, biscuit.
T: sweetish apricot, biscuit, marmalade, bitter grapefruit peel.
F: resinous & piney hops, grapefruit peel, bit soapy.
P: medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.
Hasn't really improved 8 years after my first tasting, so keeping the original score.
Original rating: 26/05/2018. Bottle brought back from 'Marken-Erlebniswelt', Bitburg brewery. Thanks to mom and dad!
Pours hazy golden/orange with a small, frothy, off-white head; little lacing. The aroma contains citrus, flowers, ripe mango & pineapple, resinous hops, bit stale (sweat?), pine. It tastes light to medium hoppy bitter, hints of grain & resin, and light fruity sweet, bit bready. Dry, resinous hoppy finish, bit peppery and 'dirty' earthy. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Bit weird, dank, not really a success.
