Flaske 330ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Gå vidt gjennomskinnelig dyprød. Middels høyt mokkafarget skum som daler raskt. God sjokoladearoma. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken melkesjokolade & salt lakris.

Prost!

Bottled 500ml (Boxbeers)
Braille text in the label. Dark ruby colour, small steady beige head. Aroma has dark bread, alcohol, malts and yeah like tobacco. It is similar to some Baltic Porters brewed in the Baltics. Medium-bodied. Sweetish, caramel, malts, licorice, rye bread. Robust but way too sweet. And yes, it is like heavy Scandinavian easter beer or Baltic Porter so "Belgian Strong Ale" gives you somewhat wrong idea.

Bottle. Color: Dark rub y, thin light brown head. Taste: Rather complex mix of roasted malt, caramel, raisins, spices and brown sugar notes, licorice and alcohol. Mostly medium sweet with some lightly bitter notes. Lightly warming mouthfeel. A bit too much sweetness for me.

Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of liquorice and roast malts, hints of snuff. The flavour is kind of boring, not very sweet, with minimal hops. Some roast malts.

Bottle shared with RB/HD at Bjørnøy 29.12.16. Very dark brown. Pale brown head. Aroma of roasted barley, dark chocolate, coffe, pine and vanilla. Similar taste, with solid bitterness. Bitterness, and a hint of chili, is lingering on.
