330ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden colour with average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Floral and piney, hoppy aroma, notes of petals with bath salt reminiscence, cautious fruity hints of dried yellow stone fruit, a minimally citrusy touch, pale and caramel malty background; citrusy hop flavours increase in intensity, hints of old lemon peel take hold after all. Taste is slightly dry, caramel malty and piney hoppy, floral and citrusy overtones, a touch of aniseed and orange peel, a bit papery as well. Hm, difficult. Somehow a paradigmatic West Coast IPA, somehow only a mediocre interpretation thereof. Therefore the 7/3/7/3/14 standard IPA score.
