Bomber from Michael’s in Moses Lake, WA. Everything seems to click from the start, instant grassy aroma and a fizzy, pale golden pour with moderate airy head. Taste continues with more meadow, grassy flavor and finishes with a mild hoppy snap. Tasty and goes down easy.

Blind pilsner tasting yesterday. Bomber. A: Light skunk, light sweetness. A: Hazy yellow pour, white head. T: Lightly sweet, dry finish. O: Not too bad, but a little bland. Decent New World example.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours light gold with a foamy white head. It’s a bit bready, but more than that it’s more than grassy - sort of new mown hay? Near med body. It is pretty balanced. Can’t figure which came first - malt or hop. It is a bit sweetly bready, but it’s also exotic grassy/spicy. Not super strong flavors, but good ones. Good pils.

Pale golden with a white head. Aroma is bready, malt, light noble hops. Flavor is similar with a lingering bitterness. Clean lager with a pleasantly crisp finish. This was exactly what I was in the mood for. A tasty, easy going, crispy pils to wash down some wings. Well done.

1st rater. 22oz bottle, $5, stamped BB 06.23.15, this just hit the stores so I am guessing it was actually bottled on 02.23.
Poured into a small footed pilsner glass. Its completely clear, small head that fades. The beer is clear throughout, almost definitely filtered. Rather decent pils with soggy wet bread, no hops come through. Flavor is similar, just a bit of a flat/dull flavor but otherwise no off flavors. Not particularly crisp, the body is a bit thicker in comparison to the rest of the beer. Nothing to complain about. Clean, a faint noble hop finish, just a hint of sweet white bread at the end. Its actually very hard to find something like this and I am happy Hale’s was able to do it. Would like a bit less body and a bit more carbonation with less filtration.
