Copper with a medium sized white head. Malty, fruity and a bit perfumey. Medium finish and body.

A big upfront aroma of goldings, and pine, with a little soapiness.
This was a cask, so the carb is very low, and the mouthfeel was a little flat. The finish is quite grainy, some cereal,s and breads.

On tap at the brewpub.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a glossy hazy orange with a slight transparency running about it. Slim white bar pour’s kind of head coats the top.
The smell had that sweet ESB-ish apple I normally associate with the style with an undercarriage of glazed of caramel malts to balance nicely.
The taste was there enveloping the prior flavors to balance. There’s barely any aftertaste nor finish but that’s okay given it’s an ESB.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs smooth to give off a nice creamy texture typically associated with the style.
Overall, as an ESB it works and I wouldn’t mind having again with some fish n’chips.

New England Bucket List Trip #130. Keg at the brewpub. Pours a clear copper with a thin creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of caramel, toasted malt, dark fruits. The taste is toffee, toasted malt, caramel, dark fruits. Medium bodied, well balanced, refreshing.

burnt orange appearance. Minimal aroma. not a lot going on. Cream and some rhubarb acidity, sticky toothpaste weirdness with a lot of birch wood and some tobacco.

Sampled at the brewpub. Golden-copper colour with foamy lace. Lacking fruit malt, just plain hoppy. Sour tasting with mild bitterness. The best balance here is the mouthfeel, between dry and wet. Lease favorite beer here, not as well blended. Becomes a little with time.

(17 avril 2013)

Draft @ the Brew Pub. Pint glass shows cascading carbonation in a hazy amber liquid. Lightly bitter, bitterness that lingers just slightly, some sweetness from toasted bread malt. Texture is nicely creamy and smooth. Well done ESB. Good cold or on cask. Very tasty.

tap at the brewpub - The aroma is of hops and mild caramel. It has a mild to moderately bitter flavor with some caramel malt and a medium body. This bubbly brew is a pretty good quaff.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Poured a clear amber with an off-white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma had a light pine note with a bread backbone and a hint of citrus. Flavor began with pine but had a nice growing pine note that combined with an underlying grassy hop note.
