A classic, well balanced ESB brewed with traditional East Kent Golding and Fuggles hops. There is a big, fierce earthy hop bite complemeted by a well rounded, flavorful and malty body. A very bright beer with a rich, deep amber appearance. A Pub favorite for over 18 years!

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy dark orange with a small, off-white and creamy head. Aroma is mild phenolic and malty. Light malty, slight caramelish and toasted. Lingering mild fruity into a bitter and dry finish.

Orange witha white head. Aroma is of earthy hops, malty, and I picked up some oranges. Flavor has noticeable bitterness throughout. Fruits, light malt notes, light earth, as well. Finishes with a bitter bite. Easy drinking, tasty, ESB.

Hazy red amber ale with a light caramel aroma. Bitter sweet malts with roasted nuts in mouth. Lingering bitterness, not overwhelming. Medium bodied.

A true ESB, good and hoppy, but like the last rater said, good balance and the bitterness eases off at the right moment.
