This is our take on a classic cocktail with an Asian twist and a cool name. An IPA with apricot and a slim hint of umami. It’s crisp, fruity and perhaps full-bodied.

50 cl can @ home. Hazy orange with a medium sized white head. Smells fruity, fresh, hoppy, zesty. Tastes bitter, fruity, hops, slightly pine. Somehow the aftertaste is salty which I kinda hate in this beer. Calling it umami doesn't help. Medium body, nice carbo.

Hazy, yellow-orange colored, medium- white head, not too lasting, loads of floaters. Aroma is of some malt, very light caramel, mostly fruity, peachy, bit tropical, apricot, citrus, moderate hops. Taste is medium sweet malt, fruity, peachy, bit tropical, citrus, some apricot, medium bitterness, dry finish. Medium bodied, average carbonation, oily. (can, Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte)

Can from Cork & Cask. Hazy golden body with sediment floating beneath a thin white head that fades. Low carbonation. Aroma of sponge cake and orange pith. Flavour of apricot and grass. Medium body with a chewy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Not a beer I’d seek out again - it’s quite sweet and muted.

Can 1pt. @ home. [ As Evil Twin Sumo in a Sidecar ].Murky medium orange yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, fruity hops, citric, apricot, light wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, citrus, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity hops, apricot. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. 473ml can from Hop Burns & Black. Pours clear orange with a small head. Aroma of ripe apricot, citrus, pine, caramely malts and zesty lime. Taste is slightly fruity and caramely with hints of ripe apricot, citrus and lime. Finish is carbonated, slightly fruity and caramely with some stingy fruits, apricot, citrus and lime. A bit unbalanced.

Can @ Beerfox bottleshop. Pours cloudy orange, full color looking tasty with some nice white foam on the top. Fruity nose, tropical with some mineral thing also there. Mango and yep, some over-ripe apricot also there. Taste has good level of bitterness, fleshy fruitiness, bitterness a bit muted, quite strong but not very bright. Good fruity IPA, does not shine for me though.
