EN Mid September 2018, we received 500 kilos of wild blueberries, foraged in the Swedish forests. For this blend, we let 250 kilos macerate for 5 months and 5 days on 200 litres of young traditional 3 Fonteinen lambic and in an oak barrel. The berry lambic was then blended with young lambic and a bit of fresh lambic wort for a continued fermentation in the bottle. Natural fruit without addition of juices, sirops or sugars. Unfiltered and unpasteurised.

Pours a red/amber, with a small, low stability, light pink head. Scent is very funky fruits, underripe (tannic by twigs and stems, seemingly) yet very pure, boiled (ripe) fruityness at the same time. Taste is sharp, very dry and high carbonation, very intense petrol / diesel like funky aroma by the fruits. Loads of tannins, most so I believe I've ever incounted in a fruity lambic. Fruityness mostly trought the diesel-like aspect, I get way less (none) of the boiled fruit character anymore. Acidity is quite high, dry and sharp, but not very acetic. Still, a pretty hardcore beer. I get why this is higher rated than the other batch (released at the same time, but this one is a Sweden exclusive) ,as this is much more 'unique' and pronounced, but... is it the pronounciation desired ?

(Bottle, blend no 44, season 18/19) Light burgundy red colour with frothy, pinkish off-white head. Fruity nose with notes of barnyard, oak wood, funk, blueberries and dark fruit. Fruity, tart taste with blueberries, dark fruit, blackberries, oak wood, citrus, barnyard, funky yeast and a dry and tart finish. Low bitterness. Medium body, dry. Solid and well made lambic with a good blueberry character. Great beer!

750ml (thx, Brian (and Balder, too, of course)!) @ Sales Force. Blend 44. Appearance: murky purple with a rose head. Aroma: a lot of manure and horse blanket, some fruity character, a bit soapy. Taste: bold, soapy, very tannic, a bit of creamy oak and vanilla, dry. Overall: good one.

750mL bottle. Pours murky brownish red with small pink-off-white head. Aroma is packed full of wet hay and manure; solid horse blanket. Flavour has a ton of tart blueberries, horse blanket, slightly jammy. Incredible manure-related notes which the blueberries compliment very well.

Blend 44. Purple and hazy, just a thin head. The aroma has a bright, jammy blueberry aroma with good pedio. Soft body, nice touch of acidity. Refined, bright blueberry. Rustic farm character. Just a hit of acetic in the finish. This comes together very well. Excellent.

Blend 44. 750mL bottle, pours an opaque dark rusted red with a small pink-tinged white head. Aroma has deep pithy blueberries, a nice barnyard funk, lots of horse blanket, ruminant manure, and gentle acidity. Flavour has a unique blueberry character -- plenty of pith, some earthy tannic notes -- along with barnyard funk, some horse blanket, some manure, and oak. That's sure a unique blueberry expression, which combines wonderfully with the very horse blanket-y funk. Bit of petroleum on the finish. This is excellent.

From backlog. Taster, from Bottle, at a big share in Oslo. Deep red with some head. Blueberries, sour, funky, some smoke, oak, barrel.
A bit sour, fruity, sweet, dry. Blueberries, smooth, nice.
