Tap at 8a Colina taproom, Lisbon. Pours cloudy dark amber with medium white head. Aroma is malt, raspberry and vinegar. Taste is light to medium sweet, faint bitter and light to medium acidic. Body is oily with medium carbonation. Finish is medium long and mostly acidic with notes of malt, raspberry, banana, chalk, yogurt, and vinegar.

Keg at Catraio, Porto, 28/10/22. Hazed orange topped with a white cap that retains well. Nose is tangy fruit rinds, straw, herb, raspberry yoghurt, grains. Taste comprises tarte tropical notes, guava, funk, damp straw, on the turn melon, berry pips. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow puckering rasp. Okay refresher.

Tap at Fuga Cidade Funchal. A light hazed peachy pink coloured pour with a sticky white head. Aroma is nice fresh tart raspberry, tayberry, sugar dusted berries, soft wheat, pavlova. Flavour is composed of crisp, light wheat, dusty grains, tart raspberry,. Nice fresh raspberry fruit, not too sour. Palate is super crispy, tart, highish carbonation. Drying finish. Good.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 29A: raspberry - base: 28B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L050403 (BBF 05/2021). AROMA: medium raspberry aroma with a soft malty background (doughy-like). medium-low clean lactic sourness. APPEARANCE: light amber to slight reddish-amber color. medium-low light pink head with medium retention. TASTE: initial medium-low raspberry aroma, followed by a doughy malt background. medium bitterness with a dry finish with slight raspeberry hints. PALATE: medium-low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: an ok fruuit sour.

Draught, half pint. @Artbeerfest 2019, Caminha (Portugal). 13/07/2019. Orange colour with a medium white head. Aroma is raspberry, frozen raspberry yoghurt, funk and soft tart. Taste is medium sour raspberry leading to a medium intense funky finish. Next one please!
