(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours very cloudy yellow-gold with a small white head and some lace. Aroma of peach and grapefruit with accents of guava and pineapple, moderate wet conifer and weed dankness like expected for the hops, some cereal malt vibes and a note I can't place. Flavour is off-dry with clear raw cereal/bread malt backbone and notes of underripe pineapple and grapefruit with accents of creamy peach and guava and some grass. Finishes dry with almost no bitterness and lingering aftertaste of grapefruit and cereals. Light to medium oily to creamy body with soft carbonation. A bit on the lighter side, refreshing, drinking almost like a good APA. Well made but could be punchier.

Can: Poured a hazy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of tropical notes with huge citrusy floral undertones notes is quite pleasant. Taste is also a mix of huge tropical notes with some citrusy floral undertones with some residual sugar notes with a semi-dry finish with no discernible bitterness. Body is full with good carbonation. Another great NEIPA from this fine brewery.

Murky blond colour, dull; the frothy head dissipates quickly. Mild aroma of guava, tropical juice, touch of zest. The mouthfeel is lean, rather dry, actually quite weak too; delicate malt base, tropical juice from the hop, finishing dry.
Not very bright, but juicy enough. Good.

Sampled at the brewery on tap, side-by-side with HYPA #6 and 7. Pours a cloudy golden colour with an off-white smaller head of the three, but with a nice thin creamy lace. Beautiful fruity hop aromas with lots of oranges. Again, loads of oranges in the taste, but hardly any bitterness, as milder and juicy. The mouthfeel has a tad of dryness, but mostly crisp and refreshing. A real easy-drinking, light juicy IPA.
