Fruited Belgian Tripel. Voodoo Love Child is our unique interpretation of an old-world classic. We take our Belgian Tripel and delicately age it on cherries, raspberries and passion fruit to produce moderately sweet fruit notes on top of our traditional Belgian yeast character.

Bottle. Clear amber pour, with a small white head. Aroma is candi sugar, crisp cereals, pale malts, and a lot of cherries. Mouth feel is thin, carb is lively. Finish is low on the bitterness, with a big sweet, yeasty cherry finish.

Poured @ MBCC 2023 red session (finally adding my notes). Clear deep gold. Esters, feint hint of cherry and raspberry, decent.

Pours mostly clear gold and smells of berries and spicy yeast. The berries come through in the flavor but don’t dominate it. There’s also malty sweetness and some spicy yeast. It finishes a bit dry. It’s a pretty good tripel.

On tap at the new Boise taproom. Golden peach color pour scant wispy white head. Fruity and sweet. Not much Belgian yeast character. Pleasant though

Taster at the Colorado Springs Pub. Pours a clear, gold color, with a small, off-white head. The aroma is lemongrass, cherry cough syrup, hay, and cane sugar. Sweet and sugary, with a strange, acrid, sour finish. Medium body, slick, and biting.
